September 2026 Horoscopes: Emerald Year Alert!

Published on: 29th September, 2026

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VIRGO!!!!

The gals are back from their brief break! They hope that everyone had an excellent end to the summer. Susan Miller thinks the start of September will be extremely quiet, so we must focus on getting things done. Because when Venus and Mercury retrograde in October, don’t even think about signing contracts and undergoing cosmetic dental procedures.

To kick off the podcast, the gals talk about what they got up to in August. While recovering from shoulder surgery, Laura had a classic Susan flood experience and the gals invented Chore Club™, which they recommend to anyone who is open to the possibility that chatting with a friend greatly improves the experience of opening mail. They also dig into some of the astrology they missed last month, including two eclipses that resulted in a number of beloved elders being, as Susan would say, “eclipsed out.” Dolly, the gals will always love you!

Next up Laura and Alex chat about Susan Miller’s note to her readers, which hits a lot of Susan's usual topics, including her dynamic and puzzling process with her editor, astrology, businesswoman ventures, and her latest project: Joyce. Susan is on a mission!

Lastly the gals recap the September horoscopes. Susan Miller gives Virgo a wonderful birthday gift when she announces that 2027 will be their Emerald Year! Most signs do not receive this kind of early notice, so Susan must be favoring her birthday Virgos. Laura then tells Taurus about the exciting golden triangles of harmony that appear this month and how to cope with the upcoming planetary retrogrades. And Alex is happy to report that her Scorps have excellent career news to look forward to because the planets are out there holding hands and making things happen.

Laura and Alex discuss the following at these timestamps:

Note from Susan Miller: 13:26

Virgo: 23:30

Taurus: 33:26

Scorpio: 40:10
